I think it came faulty because the other one works totally fine, but now I am trying to communicate with the seller but nothing comes out that the seller is not receiving emails for now and now I am with a speaker that sounds bad.These babies hit for just the doors. Good sound quality. Right now I only have one in because I haven’t gotten time to put in the second one but just one in there sounds full. Cant wait to have them both on. For sure want to order for the back doors!Did excellent for a year and 8 months.Blowen woofer rubber after 1year and change. Had paired with jvc aftermarket stereo. and an Alpine S-A32F amplifier with 5x7 Alpine S-57 speaker in a 96' F350 crew cab. Sounded awesome until the 6.5 inch blew.Dropped these babies into my Chevy HHR SS to replace the standard door speakers (which weren't too shabby to begin with). Holy smokes! SO much more headroom and top end detail, not to mention some serious bass coming from a 6.5" speaker. Didn't upgrade the power amp or anything. Didn't need to. Am so convinced I'm buying a second pair to put in the back doors. Ain't it cool when your best sounding stereo is in your car?Upgraded from Polk audio DB speaker to these and I am just mind blown by the clean sounds these produce, I will always be an alpine Type R fan from now on......of note: I’m running a 5 channel alpine amp with a pioneer double din head unit, which does enhance over all sound quality when compared to just having a stock radio powering these speakersI had a pair of Hertz 6.5" speakers and both tore the baffles. They sounded ok at first but eventually just went kaput. These alpines are head and shoulders better. Deeper bass, clearer mids and no distortion at higher volume. Time will tell if they hold up but this far... Looking and sounding good!Installed in a 2017 Jetta with 50 watts of power and DSP flattening (Kicker key). Actually has decent bass down to 40hz but not the crispest, cleanest sound. My infinity coaxials sound cleaner and more detailed for 60% of the price.Thanks
